PORTALES, N.M. – Eastern New Mexico Men's Soccer play their home finale on Saturday evening against (RV) Midwestern State. Kickoff between the two LSC foes is slated for 6 p.m. from Steve Loy Family Foundation Stadium.

SERIES INSIGHT

• Eastern New Mexico and Midwestern State meet up for 29^th time in series history, with the Mustangs leading 22-3-3 all-time.
• Eastern has had success recently against the Mustangs, winning two of the last three meetings between the programs (both wins came at home).
• The last two meetings have produced 1-0 wins for the home team, as the Mustangs bested the Greyhounds in 2023, and the Greyhounds won in 2022.
• ENMU meets the Mustangs outside the top 25 national poll for the first time since 2014. When the Greyhounds faced MSU on Oct. 27, 2014, the Mustangs were receiving votes. That game finished 2-1 in favor of the Greyhounds in Wichita Falls.
• Midwestern State dominated the beginning of the all-time series, winning 14 consecutive matches. The first meeting between the two teams took place in 2004, as MSU pulled a 1-0 win in Portales (9/19/04).

SCOUTING THE GREYHOUNDS

• As of now, the Greyhounds are on the outside looking in on the Lone Star Conference Postseason Tournament, trailing 6^th place Oklahoma Christian by one point. Eastern New Mexico (4-5-6, 2-3-3 LSC) has nine points on the season with two matches left.
• Three different Greyhounds have scored three goals this season to lead the team: Pablo Nodar, Ben Sauerländer, and Robin Vandewalle. Four Greyhounds have two assists on the season to lead the team: Teddy McIntyre, Alexandre Meres, Kevin Nunez, and Sauerländer. Nick Huenig paces the attack with 17 shots on the season.
• Milo Paci has established themselves in goal for the Greyhounds, playing the opening eight conference matches with three clean sheets in that span. The freshman is allowing just 1.18 goals against average, with a save percentage of 0.776.
• Eastern is posting 7.9 shots per match, with 40% of attempts going on goal. Eastern has posted 38 yellow cards this season, committing 181 fouls.

SCOUTING THE (RV) MUSTANGS

• Midwestern State sit comfortably in second place now in LSC standings, holding a record of 10-2-3 overall with a 5-2-1 conference record. Recently, MSU dropped out of the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 Poll for the first time this season, reaching as high as 7^th in Week 1.
• Mere Escobar continues to shine for MSU, leading the conference with 14 goals and six assists in 15 games. Escobar's 34 points is 5^th in the nation, while his 14 goals is tied for 5^th. In terms of career marks, Escobar is the NCAA DII active career leader for points (145) and goals (58), while being 3^rd in assists (29). Supporting Escobar, Samuele Muroni has tallied seven goals this season, while Liam Pritchard contributes five assists.
• In the net, Daniel Robles has cemented themselves as the first-choice keeper starting the last seven matches. The Junior has a record of 5-1-3 this season, while holding a 1.24 goals-against average and a .657 save percentage.
• Overall, the Mustangs are finding 18.1 shots per game, scoring on just over 12% of those opportunities. As for fouls, the team has 32 yellow cards, three red cards, while being called for 157 fouls.
