Men's Soccer Announces 17-game 2024 Schedule

ENMU open the season with three consecutive home matches

PORTALES, N.M. – The 2024 Eastern New Mexico Men's Soccer season is just around the corner, with the Greyhounds announcing the 2024 schedule. Eastern will take part in a 17-game season, with 10 Lone Star Conference (LSC) matches, including nine home matches.

Eastern begin their 2024 campaign with a three-game home stand, facing Adams State on Thurs. Sept. 5 at 5 p.m. in the season opener. The Greyhounds will start the season at home for the first time since 2018, when ENMU played Southern Nazarene on Aug. 30 in 2018. ENMU continue the opening home weekend against Fort Lewis on Sat. Sept. 7. The three consecutive home games end with a non-conference matchup with the Buffs of West Texas A&M on Thurs. Sept. 12.

The Greyhounds' first road trip of the season takes them to Tahlequah, Okla. to face Northeastern State. Eastern will face the Riverhawks for the first time in over a decade (9/23/11). ENMU continue their non-conference play at Midwestern State, taking part in the MSU Soccer Fall Festival. The two-game weekend starts on Thurs. Sept. 14 at 4 p.m. (MST) against Southern Nazarene. Then, the Greyhounds match up with Fort Hays State on Sat. Sat 16 at 4 p.m., playing the Tigers for the fourth time in program history.

Before Eastern begins their conference schedule, Eastern plays Sul Ross State in a non-conference contest on Sept 28 at Greyhound Stadium. Shortly after, ENMU start LSC play when they face St. Mary's on Oct. 5. Eastern make their first conference away trip on Oct. 9, traveling to the Texas state capital to face St. Edward's in Austin, Texas.

Following the trip to St. Edward's, Eastern play at home for pair of games against Texas A&M International (Oct. 12) and Oklahoma Christian (Oct. 16). The Greyhounds travel to UT Tyler to face the Patriots in a road bout (Oct. 19). Soon after Eastern New Mexico returns home to face DBU on Oct. 23.

The Greyhounds conclude the season with three of the final four games on the road, facing Sul Ross State (Oct. 26) and West Texas A&M (Oct. 30). Eastern wrap up their home schedule against regaining conference champions Midwestern State on Nov. 2. ENMU conclude the regular season in Lubbock, Texas against Lubbock Christian Nov. 6.
