PORTALES, N.M. – Eastern New Mexico Men's Soccer look to bounce back after a defeat, taking their first road trip of the season. The Greyhounds travel to Northeastern State, to face the Riverhawks in a non-conference contest on Sat., Sept. 14, beginning at 2 p.m. (MT) / 3 p.m. (CT).

SERIES INSIGHT

• The Greyhounds meet up with the Riverhawks for the first time in over a decade, as the Eastern look for their first win against NSU.
• Both programs were conference rivals in the 2000's when both teams played in the Southwest Soccer Conference.
• The Riverhawks have never lost against the Greyhounds, holding a 10-0-2 standing. The last meeting was a road victory for Northeastern State, beating ENMU 2-1 in double overtime (9/23/11).

• Eastern suffered defeat to West Texas A&M in its last match, 3-1, as Pablo Nodar scored a second half goal to eliminate a shutout.
• Nodar joins three other Greyhound scorers this season, while Ben Sauerländer leads the team with four points (1 g, 2 a), and Teddy McIntyre has a pair of assists to his name.
• Milo Paci has deputized in goal for the first three games, making 11 saves with 1.33 goals against average.

SCOUTING THE RIVERHAWKS

• The Riverhawks are in search for their first win of the season, holding a 0-2-1 overall record.
• Most recently, Northeastern State held a 0-0 draw against Lone Star Conference opponent Lubbock Christian. Both teams had opportunities, but did not find a winning goal.
• Carl Murch found the back of the net in the opening three games, scoring an unassisted goal in a 2-1 defeat to Drury (9/9). Both Ivan Lopes and Luis Felipe Karam have six shots this season, while Carter Adams has a team best three shots on goal.
• In net, Gonzalo Castells has played all three games for the Riverhawks with nine saves and conceding three goals.
