PORTALES, N.M. – Eastern New Mexico Men's Soccer look to bounce back in weekend finale against #14 Fort Hays State on Saturday, Sept. 21. Kickoff at Stang Park is scheduled for 11 a.m. (MT)/12 p.m. (CT) as part of the final day of the 2024 MSU Soccer Fall Festival.

• The Greyhounds and Lions face-off for the fourth time in program history, with a 2-1 record in favor of the Lions.

• Nick Huenig, Arthur Macri, Pablo Nodar, Ben Sauerländer, and Robin Vandewalle all have a goal to their name this season, while Teddy McIntyre, Kevin Nunez, and Sauerländer all have a pair of assists.
• Catalin Nastuta has worn the gloves for the Greyhounds in the last two matches. In that time, the senior has faced 37 shots with seven saves and a record of 0-1-1.
• As a team, Eastern create 7.2 shots per game with 2.6 shots on goal per game.

SCOUTING THE LIONS

• Fort Hays State has been flying to begin the season, entering the weekend with a national ranking of #14, based on the latest United Soccer Coaches Poll.
• Prior to Saturday's match, FHSU dropped their first contest of the season to #19 Midwestern State, 3-1. With the defeat, the Lions hold a 3-1 record overall.
• During the opening four games, Bastian Carlman has picked up three goals, while Tadhg leads the team with four assists and 11 shots (leads nation in assists per game, 1.33). Elias Ovelar Semeniuk and Anders Sandsto each add a pair of goals to the attack.
• A pair of goalkeepers have played this season, as Jorge Valentin has played in the last three matches for the Lions. Valentin has only made three saves in that time, having only faced six shots on goal so far with a record of 2-1.
