PORTALES, N.M. – Eastern New Mexico Men's Soccer embarks on the 2024 campaign at home facing Adams State on Thursday, Sept. 5 at 5 p.m. from Al Whitehead Field at Steve Loy Family Foundation Stadium.

• The Greyhounds are 3-3-0 against the Grizzlies, when the series began in 2014
• Eastern have won their last two meetups with Adams State (4-1, 8/31/23 | 2-1, 9/13/22).
• Both teams meet in Portales for the first time since 2016.
• ENMU have produced a shutout against Adams State in just one prior meeting (3-0, 9/4/15)

• Eastern New Mexico placed 8^th in the Lone Star Conference (LSC) preseason poll, as Nick Huenig, Kris McDonald, and Catalin Nastuta were all named players to watch.
• The Greyhounds return top goal scorer's Huenig (5g, 1a), and Giani Mascarel (4g, 0a), while Loris Tsiatsipy is the top returner in terms of minutes played in 2023 (1342 min).
• Nastuta is the only returning keeper from the 2023 squad, appearing in one game against South Dakota Mines.
• Head Coach Brandon Misuraca is 1-1-0 in season openers, with his win coming against Adams State last season. This is the first time ENMU will open the season at home since 2018.

SCOUTING THE GRIZZLIES

• Adams State was picked to finish 11^th in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) preseason poll, following an 0-16 record, and 0-10 RMAC record in 2023.
• Ranulfo Lopez was the Grizzlies' offensive leader in 2023 and returns after scoring three times with an assist and 22 shots.
• Adams State will have a debut in goal, as the three goalkeepers on the 2024 roster are new to the team.
• The Grizzlies will head to Texas after Thursday's match, taking on Lubbock Christian on Saturday afternoon.
