RICHARDSON, Texas – Eastern New Mexico's
Hemon Joseph is the Lone Star Conference men's field athlete of the week after his performance at the Washburn Alumni Invitational.

Joshua Harden when told the news about Joseph. "He is well deserving and now we look to build on top of this."
The senior won the long jump with a personal best jump of 7.33m (24-0.75). The mark came on his second jump of the day and was one of three jumps that eclipsed the seven-meter threshold. He beat out the field of 44 jumpers. His 7.33m jump improves his standing as the second best mark all-time in the event in school history.
Joseph was a second team all-LSC honoree during the 2025 indoor season and a first team all-conference awardee during the 2025 outdoor season. He scored in three events (20 points total) at the conference championships held in Portales in May 2025 – decathlon (10 pts), javelin (8 pts), and long jump (2 pts). Joseph scored in two events (13 points total) at last season's indoor championship in Albuquerque – heptathlon (8 pts) and long jump (5 pts).
He also ran the 60m at the Washburn meet finishing with a personal best 6.93s sprint.
