RICHARDSON, Texas – Four Eastern New Mexico men's and women's track and field student-athletes were recognized as athletes to watch by the Lone Star Conference. The announcement comes ahead of the first outdoor track and field meets of the season.

Freshman Strahinja Radakovic is the men's track athlete to watch. The hurdles specialist is coming off an indoor season where he set the school record in the indoor 60m hurdles. Radakovic is a physical therapy major from Vaternik, Spain.

Junior Alex Williams is the men's field athlete to watch. The javelin thrower is coming off the 2024 outdoor season where he earned first team all-american honors at the 2024 NCAA DII outdoor track and field championships. Williams is a physical education major from Kingston, Jamaica.

Sophomore Grizell Scarlett is the women's track athlete to watch. The sprinter just came off an indoor season where she won back-to-back 60m conference titles. In 2024, she won the 100m dash at the outdoor conference championship. She also finished fourth in the 200m and was part of the third place 4x100 team. Scarlett is a business administration major from Kingston, Jamaica.

Junior Kennedy Ulmer is the women's field athlete to watch. The thrower won the conference championship in the javelin in 2024 and was the LSC runner-up in the discus. She nearly qualified for the 2024 NCAA DII outdoor championships. Ulmer is a biology major from Rio Rancho, N.M.

The Greyhounds begin the 2025 outdoor season with split meets. One group of Hounds will be headed to the University of Arizona, while another set will compete at West Texas A&M. Both meets will run Friday to Saturday.
