TUCSON, Ariz. – Two Greyhounds earned NCAA DII provisional marks and a school record was broken at the Willie Williams Classic for Eastern New Mexico women's track and field.
"I'm really pleased with how we did this weekend," said head coach
Joshua Harden when reflecting on the weekend as a whole. "I believe our athletes went out and left it on the track."
Devyn Ericksen continued her strong start to her freshman campaign. She set a new school record in the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.72s. The Farmington, N.M. native also ran the 100m and a leg in the 4x400.
Kennedy Ulmer posted an excellent start to the outdoor season. The Rio Rancho, N.M. junior inked a provisional mark in the discus at 46.65m (153-1). She also competed in the hammer with a 43.16m (141-7) throw.
One of the most impressive times this weekend came from the short sprint relay. The team of

Gabriela Elizalde, and
Grizell Scarlett earned a provisional mark with a time of 46.43s and now rank second all-time in ENMU women's track history.
Celina Thomas had an impressive showing in Tucson. She posted a long jump mark of 5.32m (17-5.50) and a triple jump mark of 11.84m (38-10.25). The triple jump result ranks second all-time in ENMU women's track history.
