Grizell Scarlett and Devyn Ericksen record NCAA DII provisional times at Don Kirby Twilight

Greyhound women's track and field total 11 personal best marks/times in Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Eastern New Mexico women's track and field made the most of their time at the 2025 Don Kirby Twilight with two NCAA DII provisional marks and 11 personal best times/marks.

"It was extremely important for us to show consistency," said head coach Joshua Harden when asked about the women's performance at UNM. "We are ready for this upcoming conference championship."

Grizell Scarlett ranks in the top 40 among sprinters in the 200m nationally after her 23.85s personal best run. Scarlett already holds provisional times in the 100m and 4x100.

Freshman Devyn Ericksen was the other Hound with a provisional time. The Farmington, N.M. native did so in the 400m hurdles. In her first time running in the event for ENMU, Ericksen set the school record with a time of 1:01.59 and ranks in the top 40 among runners in NCAA DII.

First year Hound Gabriela Elizalde had an excellent personal best time in the 100m going 12.27s. She ranks in the top 25 among runners in the Lone Star Conference in the event.

Four of the seven ENMU student-athletes posted a personal best in the 200m. Those included Scarlett (23.85s), Riley Midgett (25.22s), Meredith Brown (25.28s), and Meghan Rodriguez (25.95s).

Hurdles specialist Korah Ives put up a personal best 15.53s time in the 100m hurdles. Her result places her in the top 25 among competitors in the LSC.

Three different long jumpers earned a personal best mark in Albuquerque. Jodian Stewart bettered her school record with a 6.32m (20-9) leap. Celina Thomas (5.50m (18-0.5)) and Jerriana McWilliams (5.28m (17-4)) also had personal records in the event. McWilliams earned a personal best jump in the triple jump at 11.05m (36-3) to place her in the top 15 among conference competitors.

Eastern New Mexico hosts the conference championships this upcoming week, May 1-3.
