DENTON, Texas – A rainy weekend in the DFW shifted the schedule at the 2025 Bill Schmidt Invite to a singular day. The Greyhounds spent all Saturday on the campus of North Texas competing in the meet featuring a handful of DI programs and colleges and universities around the region.
"We are grateful to compete," said head coach
Joshua Harden after the meet. "We got through some conditions and got to put out some times today."
Six different student-athletes earned top ten results for Eastern New Mexico men's track and field, including one event win.
Byron Pruitt took top honors in the 400m hurdles with a time of 58.91s.
He was joined in the top ten by five other teammates.
