RICHARDSON, Texas – Fourteen Eastern New Mexico student-athletes have been named to the Lone Star Conference all-conference team. Eight were recognized as first team honorees, while six earned second or third team recognition.
"This is a huge accomplishment for our team," said head coach
Joshua Harden. "I am so proud of all our student-athletes who dedicate so much time and effort to their craft. The work is not done, and I am looking forward to how we continue this momentum into nationals next week."
All six men who were named all-conference honorees received first team recognition. Those student-athletes are
Hemon Joseph,
Jamoi Jackson,
Alex Williams,
Timothy Frederick,
Steve Taylor II, and
Nicolo Salaris. All six were part of an event win for the Greyhounds during the 2025 conference championships in Portales.
Joseph won the decathlon, Williams won the javelin, and Jackson won the 400m. Jackson, Frederick, Taylor II, and Salaris ran a leg for Eastern's 4x100 relay team who won the conference title.
Two women were named first team recipients.
Jodian Stewart earned the honor after winning the long jump title and running a leg in the 4x100 that took third overall.
Grizell Scarlett earned a podium finish in three different events during the LSC championships. She took second in the 100m, third in the 200m, and anchored the third place 4x100 relay.
Two Hounds earned second team recognition.
Kennedy Ulmer scored points in three events for Eastern at the conference meet. Ulmer took third in the discus, fifth in the javelin, and eighth in hammer.
Devyn Ericksen scored in two events for Eastern. She took third in the 100m hurdles and seventh in the 400m hurdles.
Four ENMU student-athletes took third team honors.
Minerva Cerda Hernandez earned distinction after taking third place in the pole vault at the LSC championships.
Deziree Bosquez earned a second-straight third team honor after taking third in the javelin.
Helena Carboo-Klutsey and
Riley Midgett ran legs in the 4x100 relay to earn third team honors for a second year in-a-row.
Eastern New Mexico will now set their sights on the 2025 NCAA DII outdoor track and field championships May 22-24 in Pueblo, Colo.
