Three Greyhounds Recognized At LSC Baseball Awards Banquet

Terilli, Ponce, and Martin were all recognized with an All-LSC Honor

SAN ANGELO, Texas – At the 2025 LSC Baseball Awards Banquet, Eastern New Mexico Baseball was recognized with three individuals earning four accolades. Luciano Terilli was named to the All-Conference First Team, along with earning All-Defensive Team honors as an outfielder. Willie Ponce was recognized to the All-Conference Second Team, while Adrien Martin earned a spot on the LSC All-Academic Team.

After earning All-LSC Second Team honors in 2024, Terilli earns a spot on the 2025 All-LSC First Team as one of the top outfielders in the conference. Terilli led the Greyhounds in several categories this season, including hits (75), home runs (12), on-base percentage (.526), slugging percentage (.732), runs scored (62), walks (44, single season record), and was second in the LSC with a 1.258 OPS. Terilli becomes the first Greyhound to be named to the all-conference first team since 2018, and the first in the coaching era of Riley Price. Additionally, Terilli was selected to the All-Defensive Team. The Dallas, Texas native played all 50 games in the outfield, with 20 games in left field and the final 30 games in center field. Terilli finished with 75 putouts and seven fielding assists in the outfield, including throwing out four runners at home trying to score.

Ponce earns his first all-conference accolade from the LSC, garnering All-LSC Second Team honors at shortstop. The senior led the Hounds in batting average, hitting .415, scoring 51 times with a team high 50 RBIs. He finished joint best on the team with a .526 on-base percentage, finishing with a school record 21 hit-by-pitches, while also drawing 21 walks. Willie finishes his Greyhound career in the top ten for runs scored, triples, RBIs, total bases, hit-by-pitch (all-time record leader), fielding assists, and double plays turned.

Martin rounds out the LSC accolades, being selected to the LSC All-Academic team. Martin become the first Hound to make the All-Academic team since 2019, as the sophomore criminal justice major has maintained a 4.00 GPA in their academic career. Martin played in 45 of the Greyhounds 50 games, playing a majority of the season at first base with 43 starts. Martin finished second on the team with 36 walks, while hitting five home runs with 28 RBIs with a .285 batting average.
