RICHARDSON, Texas – The Lone Star Conference (LSC) released their preseason women's soccer poll and preseason player of the year honors today. Eastern New Mexico is ranked 14th to start the 2025 campaign.

The Greyhounds earned 124 points to claim the 14th spot just ahead of Sul Ross State (83 points). The poll is determined by votes from media members, coaches, and sports information directors.

Nona Borden, first-year head coach, has taken charge of the women's soccer program with a fresh vision to bring new energy to the season.

Alongside the preseason players of the year, the LSC also recognized players to watch, highlighting
Gaia Chies (Offensive),
Cristina Boluda Piqueras (Defensive), and
Rosie Willmott Joyce (Goalkeeper).
