RICHARDSON, Texas – The Lone Star Conference announced the 2025 men's cross country preseason poll. Eastern New Mexico goes into the season selected to finish 13th among the 14-team poll.
"It's a good feeling to get back to competition," said assistant coach Keyanah Browning. "I believe this team will continue to grow and improve each practice and each meet."
West Texas A&M is predicted to win the conference with 419 total points and all 27 first place votes.
Filling out the top five includes DBU (343), Western New Mexico (342), St. Edward's (336), and Texas A&M International (321).
The LSC welcomes a new conference member this season in UT Dallas. The Comets were selected to finish one spot ahead of Eastern New Mexico.
In 2025, the Lone Star Conference cross country championship will be hosted by Dallas Baptist at AP Ranch in Fort Worth, Texas.
Two Greyhounds were named runners to watch. Those include
Thomas Aerdts and
Eloy Serrano Borrego.
ENMU's season begins this upcoming Friday. Eastern will travel to Lawton, Okla. for the Aggie Duels on September 5.
