PORTALES, N.M. - Eastern New Mexico rodeo will send three representatives to the 2026 College National Finals Rodeo, set for June 14-20 at the Ford Wyoming Center in Casper, Wyo.

Jacob Walters dominated the Caprock Region, capturing the men's all-around title with 2,255 total points – a commanding 835-point margin over runner-up Andrew Morian of Clarendon College, who finished with 1,420 points.

The all-around champion's success came from exceptional performances across multiple events. Walters claimed first place in tie-down roping with 725 points and team roping with 855 points, while also placing fourth in steer wrestling with 675 points. He will compete in tie-down roping and team roping at the CNFR.

Walters closed the regular season in dominant fashion, winning the men's all-around at both the West Texas A&M rodeo and the South Plains rodeo – the final two competitions of the regular season.

Cutter Pareo punched his ticket to Casper with a third-place finish in the region's tie-down roping standings, accumulating 535 points. He will compete in tie-down roping at the CNFR.

Shaeden Marr will represent the Greyhounds on the women's side, competing in breakaway roping. As the student director of the Caprock Region, Marr receives an automatic bid to the College National Finals Rodeo.
