CANYON, Texas - The Eastern New Mexico women's track squad claimed sixth place with 62 points over the three-day meet at the 2026 LSC Outdoor Championships in Canyon.
West Texas A&M claimed both team titles, scoring 166 points on the men's side and 250 on the women's side.
Kennedy Ulmer led Eastern women with three runner-up finishes in the throwing events. Ulmer placed second in the discus with a personal-best throw of 50.92m (167-0), ranking ninth in Division II. She also took second in the javelin at 43.10m (141-5) and fourth in the hammer throw at 52.58m (172-6) and is a personal best.

Celina Thomas earned a pair of top-five finishes in the jumps. Thomas placed third in the triple jump with a mark of 12.13m (39-9.75), ranking 20th nationally, and finished 11th in the long jump at 5.64m (18-6.00).

Ashley Richburg took fourth in the triple jump with a personal-best leap of 11.73m (38-6.00), and placed 13th in the long jump at 5.54m (18-2.25).

Journie Alexander finished fourth in the long jump at 5.96m (19-6.75), ranking 22nd nationally.
Gabriela Elizalde placed eighth in the long jump with a mark of 5.82m (19-1.25).

Devyn Ericksen qualified for the 100m hurdles final and placed fourth with a time of 14.18. She advanced to the final after finishing seventh in the prelims at 14.29.

Vivica Addison scored in two throwing events, placing eighth in the hammer throw at 48.38m (158-8) and fourth in the javelin at 41.08m (134-9).
Deziree Bosquez finished fifth in the javelin with a season-best throw of 39.46m (129-5).

Paige Fowler placed sixth in the discus at 43.27m (141-11), while
Madison Gigler finished 12th with a personal-best 40.69m (133-6).
Jha'Niah Johnson competed in both the discus (15th, 38.12m) and hammer throw (15th, 45.86m).

The women's 4x100m relay team of Elizalde,
Riley Midgett, Alexander and
Ambrosia Francis placed fourth with a season-best time of 46.35. The 4x400m relay squad of Ericksen, Elizalde,
Minerva Cerda Hernandez and
Treasure Burrows finished eighth at 3:49.90.

In the sprints prelims, Francis placed 10th in the 100m at 12.00, Alexander finished 12th at 12.06,
Meredith Brown was 19th at 12.26 and Midgett placed 20th at 12.27.

Korah Ives competed in the heptathlon, finishing with strong performances across all seven events. Ives cleared 1.56m (5-1.25) in the heptathlon high jump, threw 9.04m (29-8.00) in the shot put, ran 14.75 in the 100m hurdles, leaped 5.24m (17-2.25) in the long jump, threw 21.91m (71-10) in the javelin and ran 2:44.59 in the 800m. She also competed in the open high jump, placing 15th at 1.55m (5-1.00).

Ajah Walker placed ninth in the triple jump at 10.75m (35-3.25), while
Jerriana McWilliams finished 12th in the long jump at 5.58m (18-3.75).
Aeriana Langley competed in the high jump, placing 10th at 1.60m (5-3.00).
SeiOriana Glass finished 17th in the hammer throw at 43.34m (142-2).

Eastern will now await word on the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships qualifiers. The national meet is scheduled for later this month in Emporia, Kan.
