The ENMU Greyhounds men's soccer team opens postseason play at the Heartland Conference Tournament in Canyon, Texas, on Tuesday against rival West Texas A&M. The 'Hounds enter play with a 7-7-4 overall record and a 1-1 record against WT this season. Tuesday will mark the third meeting between the two teams in the past 11 days.

• Eastern is 0-1 all-time in conference tournaments, falling to 10th-ranked Midwestern State, 5-1, on Oct. 26, 2016.
• The Greyhounds have never met West Texas A&M in postseason play. ENMU lost to WT in Canyon on Oct. 22 (0-3), but defeated the Buffaloes in the regular season finale on Saturday, 2-1.
• The Greyhounds defeated Lubbock Christian and WT last week to earn a berth in the tournament.
• ENMU Head Coach
Paul Tate (13-15-6), who is in his second-year at the helm of the soccer program, picked up his 10th victory on October 3 against Southern Nazarene.

Ryan McManus closes his final season wearing the Green & Silver. The Scotish forward has picked up a trio of goals and a pair of assists after leading the team a year ago. Additionally, McManus has been the one of the top offensive performers for the Greyhounds with eight points and 47 shots.

Omary Shabani and
Luis Lozoya are second on the team with a pair of goals each.

Robbie Leonard has done a superb job of setting the table for the offense, finding the open man to earn an assist three times on the season. He leads the team with a trio of dimes and has also scored a goal this season. McManus, Sinclair and Dicun also have multiple assists on the year.
• 11 different Greyhounds have found the back of the net this season for Eastern.
• The back line for Eastern has been one of the strengths this year. As a unit, the defense is allowing 1.43 goals per match. Redshirt junior
James Gutierrez has been the primary keeper for the Greyhounds, making 81 saves and pitching four shutouts in 1445:00 minutes of action this season. Gutierrez has started 15 games while freshman
