PORTALES, N.M. - The Eastern New Mexico University volleyball team travels to UT Permian Basin on Tuesday for the final midweek matchup of the regular season. First serve is slated for 6 p.m. in Odessa, Texas. The Greyhounds (10-15, 7-8 LSC) are coming off a weekend split against Cameron (W, 3-0) and Midwestern State (L, 1-3) while the Falcons (4-21, 1-15) dropped a pair of decisions to Tarleton State and Angelo State this past week.

With five matches to go in the regular season, the Green and Silver are tied for seventh in the Lone Star Conference standings with Texas Woman's and hold a one-game lead over MSU for the final spot in the LSC Tournament.

Earlier this season, ENMU made quick work of UTPB at Greyhound Arena with a 3-0 win (25-12, 25-13, 25-21). Freshman
Jasmine Gannon led the way offensively with 10 kills and a .533 hitting percentage while senior
Brooklyn Biel added nine with an identical .533 percentage. In the win, Eastern also rejected seven shots from the Falcons, led by redshirt freshman
Sadie Phimmasone with six. Senior
Andrea Aguilar (17) and freshman
Marissa Ellis (13) both eclipsed double-digit digs in the contest.

Aguilar leads the LSC with 288 digs in conference play and is second overall in the league with 441 on the season. The Clovis product is coming off an impressive weekend in which she picked up 50 digs, including matching the school-record for digs in a three-set match with 27 against Cameron. With 1,793 career digs, the LSC Preseason Defensive Player of the Year is 137 digs shy of Caitlin Murphy's all-time program record of 1,930.

Sophomore
Sarah Tuioti-Mariner leads the team with 267 kills on the season, good for the sixth most in the LSC while Biel is currently ninth in the league with 260. With four blocks this past weekend, Biel moved into eighth place on the all-time list, passing Jessica King's mark of 285 set from 2008-11.

Kaitlyn Kluna has been a weapon from the service line all year. The Helotes, Texas, product has 41 aces on the season, the second-most in conference and trails Tarleton's Jordyn Keamo by one for the league lead.

Senior
Alexis Aguirre passed Stacey Estlund this past weekend on the all-time assist list, moving into fifth place. The dual-sport athlete is now 179 dimes behind Kennedi Catano for fourth on the career list.

Following the trip to Odessa, the Greyhounds host Texas Woman's and Texas A&M-Commerce on Nov. 3-4.
