RICHARDSON, Texas – The Eastern New Mexico men's basketball team had three players receive recognition on the All-Lone Star Conference list for their efforts on the court throughout the 2018-19 basketball season.

Sophomore Devin Pullum was named Second Team All-LSC after leading the team with an average of 12.6 points per game while seniors Chukuka Emili and Zach Parker were each named to the All-LSC Third Team for their efforts. Emili also found his name on the 2019 LSC All-Defensive Team after leading the league with 58 total blocks while Parker received All-LSC recognition for the second straight season after finishing second on the team with an average of 11.2 points per game.

Those efforts from that trio of Greyhounds along with the production from a solid cast of contributors led Eastern New Mexico to their highest win total in conference play since the 2003-04 season and earned the Hounds their highest seed at no. 4 in the modern LSC Postseason Tournament era. The 2018-19 Greyhounds defeated Tarleton State on the road for the first time since 1996 and also began league play 3-0 for the first time since 2006 while finishing with a record of 7-2 inside Greyhound Arena.

Pullum averaged 12.6 points per game for the season in his 26 games played despite starting in just three contests, proving to be especially potent against Lone Star Conference competition. Pullum averaged the eighth most points at 14.4 points per game against LSC competition over the course of the conference schedule and scored a season-high 39 points back on Jan. 19^th against Texas A&M-Commerce.

Pullum posted those 39 points despite playing 31 minutes of the game with just three other players on the court and also hit two game-defining shots against Tarleton State and Texas A&M-Kingsville to help cement himself as one of the best late-second shooters in the Lone Star Conference. The Little Elm, Texas native finished the season with a shooting percentage of 37.9 percent (105-of-277) and also finished second on the team and ninth in the league with an average of 2.9 assists per game.

Emili earned Third Team honors as well as All-Defensive honors after proving himself as the league's top shot blocking threat with an average of 2.2 swats per game. The New City, New York native finished the season ranked 17^th nationally with 58 blocks and recorded seven double-doubles on the year.

Emili averaged 11.2 points per game and totaled double-digit points 15 times throughout the season including two 20-plus point games. His best performance came in a home win over Western New Mexico back on Feb. 9 inside Greyhound Arena during which he posted a season-high 25 points, matched a season high 13 rebounds, and tacked on a season-high six blocks as well. That particular performance capped off a streak in which the forward recorded 13 rebounds in three straight games.

Parker adds a Third Team All-LSC selection to an Honorable Mention nod a season ago, finishing with an average of 11.2 points per game. The Biloxi, Miss. native made a team-high 56 three-point attempts for the season, averaging the fifth best mark in the league at 2.2 makes for the year.

The defining moment for Parker came back on Feb. 2 on the road against MSU Texas when the senior nailed a three-point shot at the buzzer to give the Hounds an 81-80 win over the Mustangs and jump started a five game winning streak that pushed the Hounds all the way to fourth in the LSC regular season standings.

Parker posted a season-high 22 points on Jan. 10 in a loss on the road against Angelo State in the heart of a four game stretch in which he scored 12 or more points in consecutive games.

Emili, Parker and Pullum will lead the Greyhounds into the first round of the Lone Star Conference Postseason Tournament tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m. MST against no. 5 seed Tarleton State looking to extend the program's longest win streak that currently sits at three games against the Texans.
