PORTALES, N.M. – Eastern New Mexico Men's Soccer begin the second half of conference play at home this weekend, as DBU comes to Portales on Wednesday, Oct. 23. Kickoff is slated for 6 p.m. at Steve Loy Family Foundation Stadium.

SERIES INSIGHT

• Eastern New Mexico and DBU meet up for the 12^th time in the all-time series, with the Greyhounds holding a 9-1-1 edge over the Patriots.
• The Greyhounds began the all-time series by winning the first eight meetings, but DBU have earned their only draw and win in the last three meetings.
• Both teams met last season in Portales, featuring a back and forth 2-2 draw. DBU took the lead just after halftime, then the Greyhounds scored two goals in four minutes to go in front. DBU found a tying goal just after Eastern took the lead to end the match in a tie.
• ENMU is unbeaten against the Patriots on home turf, 4-0-1.
• Eastern's first ever victory as a program came against DBU in 2004, as the Greyhounds beat the Patriots on 8/28/2004, 3-1.

SCOUTING THE GREYHOUNDS

• Currently the Greyhounds sit on eight points in conference play, holding a conference record of 2-1-2 to stand in a tie for third place. Overall, Eastern holds a 4-3-5 standing going unbeaten in their last four matches.
• At the top of the scoring charts, Ben Sauerländer and Pablo Nodar have three goals each. Ben Sauerländer also is joint best for assists (two), holding a team high eight points. Teddy McIntyre and Kevin Nunez both have two assists this season for the offense. Nick Huenig leads the team with 14 shots. Rodrigo Velasco was recently named LSC Defensive Player of the Week, following back-to-back shutouts playing 180 minutes in midfield.
• Milo Paci has posted back-to-back shutouts in net for the Greyhounds, bringing his total to three on the season. Paci's record in net is 3-2-3, with a 1.00 goals against average, and a 0.771 save percentage.
• Eastern is posting 6.8 shots per match, with 40% of attempts going on goal. Eastern has posted 27 yellow cards this season, committing 134 fouls.

SCOUTING THE PATRIOTS

• DBU also sit in third place in the conference standings, with eight points from a 2-1-2 conference record. The Patriots have a 3-3-6 overall record, with a notable 2-1 road victory over #2 CSU Pueblo earlier this season.
• Leading the Patriots offensively, Peyton Voelker leads the team with five goals, 12 points, 29 shots, and 11 shots on goal. Voelker is a two-time LSC first-team all-conference selection, with his five goals this season sitting 6^th in the LSC. Evan Pustejovsky is the assists leader with four on the season.
• In goal, Patrick Banich has played in nine games this season, but Garrett McGee has started the last three matches for DBU. Recently being named LSC Goalkeeper of the Week, McGee has a record of 2-0-1, allowing just one goal (penalty kick) with an 0.33 goals against average, and 0.923 save percentage.
