ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The marks to advance to the 2024 NCAA DII indoor track and field championships are slimming away. One member of Eastern New Mexico men's track and field is on the verge of qualifying two years in-a-row.
Timothy Frederick, 2023 All-American, now holds the 17th fastest time in the 200m at 21.39s after a 0.07s adjustment to altitude. Frederick's time in the 400m at 47.67s maneuvered from a 47.56s result to give him the 11th quickest mark among sprinters around the nation.
"We came out and battled and you can't ask for more than that," said head coach
Joshua Harden after the competition. "There is more work to put in. Tim (
Timothy Frederick) put two good runs in."
Three ENMU student-athletes competed in the 60m.
Alex Williams was the only male to earn a personal record time this weekend as he crossed the line in 7.07s. His teammates
