PORTALES, N.M. – The Greyhounds play at home for the first time this month, as they face Oklahoma Christian. The three-game series starts on Saturday, Apr. 13, with a doubleheader scheduled for 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. The series finale between the two teams is scheduled for 12 p.m., on Sunday, Apr. 14.

SCOUTING THE GREYHOUNDSÂ
The Greyhounds (21-20, 14-19 LSC) come into the series after taking one game from their away trip against Texas Woman's. After the Pioneers won the opening game, 9-3, the Greyhounds grabbed the second game of the day 6-3 in 11 innings.
Marissa Rodriguez tossed a complete game during the win, with an RBI single from
Cecy Jurado jump starting a three-run 11
th inning. In the final game of the series, Â TWU got out to a 7-0 lead and held a Eastern comeback attempt, with the game ending 7-3.

Oklahoma Christian (27-16, 22-11 LSC) is currently tied for 3
rd place in the LSC standings. The Eagles began the season ranked, picked up six wins this season against nationally ranked opponents. During its last series, OC split a non-conference doubleheader with #4 Rogers State, winning the first game 3-0 (9 Inn.), and falling in a walk off in game two 1-0 (9 Inn.). Oklahoma Christian recently took a pair of games against Texas A&M-Kingsville, in its last LSC series.
