PORTALES, N.M. – For only the fourth time in program history, Eastern New Mexico Softball has qualified for the Lone Star Conference Softball Tournament, earning the 10
th seed. The Greyhounds will play seventh-seeded Texas Woman's in the first round on Thursday, May 2 at 10 a.m. (MST), played at host site West Texas A&M in Canyon, Texas.
The Greyhounds qualify for the LSC Tournament in back-to-back seasons, after reaching the tournament last season for the first time since 2002.
Amanda Fefel guided the Greyhounds to a 25-25 regular season record, along with an 18-24 conference record (improving on the 2023 record for conference wins).

As the 10
th seed, ENMU heads to the neutral venue to play seventh-seeded Texas Woman's, with the winner taking on second-seeded #4 UT Tyler on Thursday, May 2, beginning at 3 p.m. (MST). The Greyhounds and Pioneers met three times earlier this season, with Texas Woman's taking a pair of games.
