PORTALES, N.M. – For only the fourth time in program history, Eastern New Mexico Softball has qualified for the Lone Star Conference Softball Tournament, earning the 10^th seed. The Greyhounds will play seventh-seeded Texas Woman's in the first round on Thursday, May 2 at 10 a.m. (MST), played at host site West Texas A&M in Canyon, Texas.

The Greyhounds qualify for the LSC Tournament in back-to-back seasons, after reaching the tournament last season for the first time since 2002. Amanda Fefel guided the Greyhounds to a 25-25 regular season record, along with an 18-24 conference record (improving on the 2023 record for conference wins).
 
As the 10^th seed, ENMU heads to the neutral venue to play seventh-seeded Texas Woman's, with the winner taking on second-seeded #4 UT Tyler on Thursday, May 2, beginning at 3 p.m. (MST). The Greyhounds and Pioneers met three times earlier this season, with Texas Woman's taking a pair of games.
