This time, she will run the 100m dash. Scarlett has posted a consistent season for the Greyhounds as she has earned first team all-LSC and all-south central region honors. She won the Lone Star Conference championship in the 100m with an 11.33s finish in the finals. Scarlett also finished fourth in the 200m at the conference meet with a 24.02s time. The Jamaica native also ran the fourth and final leg for Eastern New Mexico's 4x100 relay squad to take third place at the conference championships. If she qualifies for the finals at the meet in Emporia, Kansas, the race will be held Saturday, May 25 at 2:35 p.m. MT.
3x4: Timothy Frederick – It will be Frederick's fourth appearance at an NCAA track and field championship as an ENMU Greyhound. He has competed in two indoor championships and is getting set for his second outdoor event. Last year, he competed in the 400m and in 2024 he will run the 200m. He qualified for the championships after an impressive 20.72s run at the Willie Williams Classic hosted by the University of Arizona to begin his outdoor campaign. He finished third in the 200m at the LSC outdoor championships after crossing the line in 21.53s. Frederick also helped the Hounds score in the 4x100 with a result of 43.18s. He is a third team all-LSC and all-south central region honoree. If the Trinidad and Tobago native earns a spot in the finals, he will run Saturday afternoon at 3:40 p.m. MT.
4x4: Alex Williams – Williams is headed to back-to-back NCAA DII outdoor championships. The second year Greyhound is coming off a second place finish in the javelin at the conference meet where he threw 66.42m (217-11). In 2023, he took seventeenth at nationals with a throw of 60.14m (197-4). The sophomore has earned back-to-back podium finishes at the LSC outdoor championships and looks to continue his successes Saturday morning in Emporia, Kansas. He comes into the meet with the tenth best throw among competitors and is one of two from the conference to throw in the competition. He is a second team all-LSC and all-south central region honoree.
