Christina Meneses has been named Lone Star Conference (LSC) Freshman of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon. The Glendale, Ariz. native earns their first player of the week accolade of their career and is the third Greyhound to get and LSC weekly award (

Meneses helped the Hounds to a pair of road wins over in-state rival Western New Mexico. The freshman batted .428, finding two doubles and four RBIs during a 7-6 victory over the Mustangs. In that game, the designated player went 3-4 with a career high four RBIs, with their 12 multi-hit game of the season. Meneses is 2nd in the LSC for doubles with 16, while holding a season long 19 game reach-base streak (longest streak by a Greyhound this season).
ENMU heads to Midwestern State for their next contests, playing the Mustangs in a doubleheader on Friday, April 11. First pitch of the opening game is set for 12 p.m. (MST) / 1 p.m. (CST).
