SAN ANTONIO, Texas – A trio of Eastern New Mexico Softball student-athletes have been recognized by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA), earning First Team South-Central All-Region honors, as announced by the organization on Monday afternoon.

Christina Meneses, designated player, and
Alondra Vasquez, third base, earn their first career all-region honors from the D2CCA. Earlier last week, Lucero and Vasquez both earned All-Region honors from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA).
An Albuquerque, N.M. native, Lucero hit lead-off for the Greyhounds in all 55 games, batting a team best .414 batting average, 75 hits, 61 runs, and a .516 on-base percentage, being selected as one of the top outfielders in the region. The graduate student also added 13 doubles, three triples, eight home runs, and 40 RBIs during their final season. Lucero finished just three hits and three runs away from single-season records in ENMU history.
Meneses was selected as the top designated player in the region after earning All-LSC Second Team Honors and All-Freshman honors in their first collegiate season. Meneses led the team with 18 doubles, while batting .358 with 57 hits and 46 RBIs. The Glendale, Ariz. paced the team with 14 multi-RBI games, while recording multiple hits in a game 15 times.
Vasquez earned a selected to the first team as the top third baseman in the region, finishing the 2025 campaign with a team high 50 RBIs, 12 home runs, 36 walks (school record), and a .703 slugging percentage. The Santiago, Dominican Republic native batted .396, starting all 55 games for the Greyhounds, playing 40 games at third base and 15 games at catcher. Around the conference, Vasquez finished in the top-20 for several categories, including walks, RBIs, and home runs.
Honorees are chosen by sports information directors in the Lone Star Conference (LSC) and Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC). All three honorees move on to the D2CCA All-American Ballot, with All-American recipients being announced on May 22
