PORTALES, N.M. – Eastern New Mexico softball plays their second home doubleheader of the season on Friday, February 20 against Cameron. The conference games are set to begin at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. at the Greyhound Softball Field.

ENMU played their first home opener and conference game this past weekend against No. 6 West Texas A&M which resulted in two losses of 2-10 (5 inn.) and 1-9 (5 inn.) for the Greyhounds. The Hounds hold an overall record of 4-5 and a conference record of 0-2.
Samantha Parisi led the Greyhounds at the plate this past weekend after going two for three with one run scored.
Natalie Rodarte scored a home run and finished one for three with one RBI and a run scored.
Giazza Lopez started the first game against the Lady Buffs and pitched one inning allowing six hits, six runs, and earning one strikeout.

Cameron currently holds an overall record of 6-5 and a conference record of 0-2 after playing their first conference game this past weekend, falling to Oklahoma Christian 0-8 in the first game and 10-13 in the second game. Haley Gardella leads the Aggies in batting with a .462 batting average, 18 hits, and 21 RBIs. Stormee Reed leads her team with 36.0 innings pitched, a 2-1 winning record, and 34 strikeouts in the season so far.

The Hounds and the Aggies have met 44 total times, with six wins for Eastern and 37 wins for Cameron and one tie in series history! The last matchup between the teams was in February of 2025 resulting in a 9-10 victory for the Aggies. The last win for ENMU over Cameron was in March of 2023 which ended in two wins for the Greyhounds from a doubleheader.
