PORTALES, N.M. – Eastern New Mexico softball will face Black Hills State, Central Oklahoma, Fort Lewis College, and Oklahoma Baptist at the OC/UCO Festival on Saturday, Feb. 7, in Edmond, Okla.

The tournament will be held in Edmond, Okla., at Tom Heath Field and Gerry Pinkston Stadium. All the Hound's games will be taking place at Tom Heath Field at Oklahoma Christian except for their game against the University of Central Oklahoma which will take place at UCO's field, Gerry Pinkston Stadium.Â

ENMU began their season at the Lone Star D2 College Classic, going 2-1. The Greyhounds defeated the number nine team in the nation Augustana University (10-9 8 inn.) in a walk-off, three-run homerun from
Seneca Aarstad.Â
Emily Marsh hit a grand slam in the game against Minnesota Duluth to secure the lead for ENMU and a win.Â
Miranda Guillen pitched the first game against UMD and
Marissa Rodriguez pitched relief for seven innings against AU, both contributing to the wins for the Hounds.Â

Giazza Lopez leads the Greyhounds with a .571 batting average, followed by
Samantha Parisi and
Talia Martin both with a batting average of .333. Â

Black Hills State is currently 3-3, with both a win and a loss against UMary, Minot State, and MSU Billings. Player Carly Reyes Mims leads the team with a .450 batting average and nine hits.Â

Central Oklahoma is ranked 11th in the nation and has a current record of 4-2. The Bronchos have earned two run-ruled wins, a 9-8 win, and a 7-3 extra inning victory. Jenna Jobe leads her team with a batting average of .421. The last matchup between the Greyhounds and the Broncos was in 2017 and the Broncos have a winning record against the Hounds of 12-1.Â

Fort Lewis College has a record of 1-4 after their time in the 2026 Concordia Kickoff Classic. True freshman Izzy Cueva is a leader for the Skyhawks with a .417 batting average. The Hounds have a winning record against the Skyhawks of 13-4 with a winning streak of five. The last game between the two teams was in 2024 resulting in a win for Eastern.Â

Oklahoma Baptist University has a perfect record of 5-0 from the Lone Star D2 College Classic, the same tournament the Greyhounds attended. The Hounds were supposed to play the Bisons in this tournament, but the game was cancelled due to weather conditions. After the first week of play, Oklahoma Baptist is the only team in the country with three players to have at least two home runs. Haley Hacker leads the team with a .667 batting average. ENMU has only faced OBU one time in 2019 which ended with a win of 4-1 for the Greyhounds.

The Greyhounds open the weekend against Black Hills State University at 10 a.m. MT/ 11 a.m. CT before facing nationally ranked number eleven University of Central Oklahoma later that day at 2:30 p.m. MT/ 3:30 p.m. CT.

To close out the weekend they will play Fort Lewis College on Sunday, Feb. 8 at 11 a.m. MT/ 12 p.m. CT then they will play Oklahoma Baptist University directly after at 1:30 p.m. MT/ 2:30 p.m. CT.
