PORTALES, N.M. – Eastern New Mexico softball plays at home after a weekend of away games. They Greyhounds are set to play Texas Woman's in a doubleheader on Wednesday, April 1, at 1 and 3 p.m. MT at the Greyhound Softball Field.

Eastern was most recently swept by No. 1 West Texas A&M 13-5 and 3-2 this past Saturday.

The Hounds now hold a 14-15 overall record and a conference record of 10-12. As a team, the Greyhounds are batting a .285 with 166 runs scored, 151 RBIs, 25 home runs, and a hundred percent stolen base record going 14 for 14.

Christina Meneses leads the team offensively with a .417 batting average with 55 total bases and six home runs in 29 games.

Samantha Parisi earned Lone Star Conference freshman of the week and follows Meneses closely as an offensive leader hitting .375 with a .468 on-base percentage and 35 total bases.

Seneca Aarstad,
Emily Marsh, and
Marissa Rodriguez all lead offensively as well. Aarstad holds a .340 batting average with 16 RBIs, 28 total bases, and a .596 slugging percentage. Marsh hits a .305 with 15 RBIs, and a .488 slugging percentage. Rodriguez posts a .279 batting average, nine RBIs, and 24 total bases.

Marissa Rodriguez not only leads offensively, but defensively as well holding a 7-0 record with a 3.72 ERA in 58.1 innings pitched. She has allowed 70 hits and 31 earned runs while striking out 27 batters and holding opponents to a .289 batting average.

Miranda Guillen also leads in the circle, holding a 6-6 record with a 4.75 ERA in 66.1 innings pitched, recording 64 strikeouts and limiting opponents to a .293 batting average.

Angelina Rubalcava is another defensive leader with a 1-3 record and a 6.84 ERA in 28.2 innings pitched, allowing 38 hits and 28 earned runs while striking out 25 batters and holding opponents at a .302 batting average.

Texas Woman's holds an overall record of 22-16 and a conference record of 16-8. As a team, they have a collective .311 batting average, a 5.21 ERA, and a .959 fielding percentage.

ENMU has faced the Pioneers 94 total times since their first match up in 1997 which resulted in a loss for the Greyhounds. The last time the two teams met up was in march of 2025 when the Hounds swept the Pioneers.
