Eastern New Mexico earns two-seed in NCAA DII south central regional

Greyhound men's basketball will head to Dallas for south central regional beginning March 14

INDIANAPOLIS – Eastern New Mexico is in the national tournament for the fourth time in program history. They are the two-seed and will face the seven-seed, St. Mary's.

DBU was named the one-seed and will host the regional championship in Dallas, Texas, March 14-17. Six different teams from the Lone Star Conference made the tournament field and two will represent the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.

Participants include:

No. 2 Eastern New Mexico
No. 3 Lubbock Christian
No. 4 Western New Mexico
No. 5 St. Edward's
No. 6 Black Hills State
No. 7 St. Mary's
No. 8 Colorado Mesa
 
This is the second time in two seasons that Eastern New Mexico advances to the regional.
 
 
The semifinals will be played on Sunday, March 15, and the championship game of the regional is scheduled for Tuesday, March 17. Specific game times will be announced once they are available.
 
The winner of the regional will advance to the Elite Eight in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
