PORTALES, N.M. – Eastern New Mexico softball is back at home for a doubleheader against UT Tyler on Friday, April 3, at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. MT. at the Greyhound Softball Field.
 
Eastern is coming off a split at home against Texas Woman's 12-6 and 1-9 this past Wednesday.
 
Natalie Rodarte led the Greyhounds on Wednesday, going four for five with four RBIs. Samantha Parisi was also a leader in this doubleheader as she went three for four and scored two runs. Christina Meneses went one for two, scored two runs, an RBI and walked three times.
 
The Hounds currently hold an overall record of 15-16 and a conference record of 11-13. As a team, the Greyhounds hold a .290 batting average, .411 on-base percentage, 179 runs scored, 164 RBIs, a .954 fielding percentage, and a hundred percent on stolen bases going 14-for-14.
 
Christina Meneses continues to lead Eastern offensively with a .442 batting average going 34-for-77, with 62 total bases and seven home runs in 31 games.
 
Samantha Parisi follows closely with a .391 batting average going 34-for-87 with a .480 on-base percentage.
 
Seneca Aarstad is hitting .333 with 16 RBIs. Emily Marsh bats a .292 going 26-for-89 with 15 RBIs. Marissa Rodriguez is posting a .313 batting average with 11 RBIs and 28 total bases.
 
Rodriguez leads defensively as well with a 7-1 pitching record with a 3.74 ERA in 63.2 innings pitched. She has allowed 79 hits and 34 runs while striking out 30 batters and holding opponents to a .298 batting average.
 
Miranda Guillen holds a 6-6 record with a 5.25 ERA in 70.2 innings pitched, recording 71 strikeouts and limiting opponents to a .305 batting average.
 
Angelina Rubalcava has a 2-3 record with a 6.84 ERA in 31.1 innings pitched and has allowed 43 hits and 28 earned runs while striking out 25 batters and posting a .314 opponent batting average.
 
UT Tyler holds an overall record of 30-8 and a conference record of 22-4. As a team, the Patriots are batting .318 on the season. They have a 5.36 team ERA and a .961 fielding percentage.
 
ENMU has only faced UT Tyler a total of 13 times since their first match up in 2021 and has only earned one victory against the Patriots in 2024.
