PORTALES, N.M. – The Eastern New Mexico volleyball team continues their six-match road stand on Monday when they travel to Hobbs, New Mexico to take on the University of the Southwest at 7 p.m. in the Maddox Student Life Center. Monday's meeting will be the second this season between the teams as the Zias swept the first meeting on Sept. 30 in Greyhound Arena.

Lindsey Barron is second with 2.31 k/s while fellow classmate
Agatha Gibbons increased her average to 2.03 k/s after an outstanding Saturday in Odessa, Texas. Gibbons also paces Eastern with a .311 attack percentage, the seventh highest by a Zia since 1991.
Senior Kenndi Catano has been credited with 482 assists and averages 5.30 a set. Fellow senior
Karra Day led the squad in assists in both contests on Saturday. She is now averaging 4.82 a/s and has totaled 439 on the season.
While sophomore
Lindsay Bost still has a team-high with 3.50 d/s, freshman
Andrea Aguilar is second now with 3.15 d/s after completing third week as the Zias' libero. Sophomore
Courtney Lawson is also getting over three digs a set with a 3.04 mark.
Gibbons is two shy of reaching 100 blocks for the season and would become the first Zia to reach that mark since Grace George and Lindsay Schiely had 129 and 105, respectively, in 2005. She has 20 solo rejections while the rest of the team has combined for 18. Senior
Bree Anna Lucero is second with 83 blocks while Frye has added 62.
As a team, Eastern is hitting .178 with 11.9 k/s and 11.2 a/s. They recorded 119 service aces while hitting into 141 service errors. The Zias average 13.6 d/s and have a 194-167.5 advantage in blocks. Opponents are posting 11.5 k/s, 10.8 a/s and hitting .166.
Scouting University of the SouthwestThe University of the Southwest comes into the match having lost seven straight after winning both matches of a doubleheader on Oct. 4. At home, the Mustangs are 1-5 with their lone victory being in four sets over Bacone College.
Tiara Gipson paces USW with 172 kills and 2.02 k/s while hitting .158. Melissa Mireles is second with 130 kills and 1.67 k/s. Leading the team with a .211 attack percentage is Cassandra Smith. She has produced 111 kills and averages 1.29 k/s.
Setting them up is Delaney Micensky and Raevyn Tuitasi-Aiono with 266 and 265 assists, respectively. Micensky is being credited with 4.16 a/s while Tuitasi-Aiono is producing 3.68 a/s.
Leading the Mustangs with 27 service aces is Micensky. Tuitasi-Aiono is close behind her with 23 aces while Smith has 15 to her name.
Defensively, Kayla Longoria has 468 digs for an average of 5.57 a set. Mireles is second on the team with 2.60 d/s. Pacing the team with 49 blocks is Smith. Only 10 rejections short of her total is Karla Vasquez.
USW is hitting .129 on the season with 9.2 k/s and 8.2 a/s. They have recorded 121 service aces while hitting into 180 errors. At the net, they average 1.1 b/s and have totaled 102 rejections. Opponents hit .164 with 11.4 k/s and 10.0 a/s against them.
