PORTALES, N.M. — After a
dominant 3-0 win over University of Texas of the Permian Basin, the Eastern New Mexico University women's soccer team (4-8-1; LSC 0-5) is 9-5 at home over the last two years. This weekend, the Greyhounds will host fifth-ranked Angelo State and Midwestern State in the final two home matches of the 2015 season.

Melissa Carnero has led the way with three goals on seven shots, while
Morgan Fairbanks tallied two goals on four shots.
Jenna Sievers has a goal and two assists in home matches. In net,
Karissa Stinson has posted a 2-2 record, while
Cristina Escobedo is 1-1. The goalkeeping duo has posted a 1.13 goals against average.

The Rambelles are on a four-game win streak with their only loss coming in their Lone Star Conference opener at Texas A&M-Commerce. The Rambelles lead the league with 2.333 goals per game and also rank first in fewest goals allowed. Sierra Anderson is second in the LSC in goals per game, while Shantel Wittke leads the league in save percentage.
The Greyhounds are 5-12-1 against Angelo State and played them in a
tight 1-0 loss in San Angelo, earlier this month.
ENMU posted a 2-0 win over the Rambelles, last season, on goals from
Alyssa Prince.
Angelo State won the initial meetings between the programs in the
2003 and
2004 seasons.
Eastern broke through for a 2-1 win in Portales on October 7, 2005 and followed with a road win the following season.

Entering the weekend, the Mustangs boast a record of 6-3-2 with a 2-1-2 road record. MSU is coming off a 2-0 setback to Angelo State, but went 3-0-1 over its previous four matches. The Mustangs trail only Angelo State in fewest goals allowed. Desiree Williamson is seventh in the LSC in goals per game, while Courtney Burnette is tied with ASU's Wittke for the league lead in shutouts.
The Greyhounds are 4-11-2 against Midwestern State and
dropped a hard-fought 2-0 decision earlier this season. Last season, the teams split a home and home series, with the
Hounds winning a 1-0 decision on the road.

The Mustangs won the first two meetings in
2003 and
2004. Eastern earned its first win in the series in 2005,
with a 1-0 decision in overtime at home. Six meetings between the teams have gone to overtime, with four double overtime contests. Eastern is 2-2-2 against MSU in all overtime games and 1-1-2 in double overtime.
