PORTALES, NM — The Eastern New Mexico University softball team will continue its final road swing of the regular season, with a Tuesday doubleheader at Oklahoma Panhandle State. The Greyhounds have won nine road games this season, most recently a victory over Heartland Conference powerhouse Oklahoma Christian.
Tuesday's games will be played at Aggie Field in Goodwell, Okla., and the first contest is scheduled for 1 p.m. MST. Live statistics and video will be available at

With 18 wins, the Greyhounds have posted their highest victory total since the 2007 season. ENMU's 10 Lone Star Conference victories is also the team's high mark since that same season
Eastern's lineup boasts three players (
Erikka Burke,
Susannah Chandler, and
Cameron Conrad) batting at least .313. The team currently is on pace for its eighth-highest slugging percentage (.441).
Erikka Burke currently is on pace for the eighth-best single-season slugging percentage in team history (.744) and has the third-most homers in a season (12) and is tied for third-most in a career (21).
Kaylee Rogers 14 wins are fourth most in a season for ENMU, while her four shutouts tie for fourth.
Head Coach
Katie Welborn has won 32 games and is in her second season at ENMU. Earlier this season, she passed Ron Landschoot and Hollie Chadwick, and currently ranks fifth on the ENMU career wins list, just four wins behind Amber Daniel.

Oklahoma Panhandle enters the week with an 11-32 record. They are currently on a six-game skid, with their last win coming at Sterling College on April 3, by a 7-6 score in 19 innings.
Meghan Mulcahy is in her sixth season with the Aggies. She has a record of 82-206.
Inside the Series with Oklahoma Panhandle
The Greyhounds are 35-14 against Oklahoma Panhandle State, and has won seven of the last 11 meetings. Eastern has a 16-4 road record in the series and has won four of the last five in Goodwell, Okla.
The teams met earlier this season in a game played in Grand Prairie, Texas. ENMU scored on a second-inning RBI double from
Courtney Vigil, but the Aggies plated five runs in the fifth inning for a 6-1 victory.
Kylee Keller had two of Eastern's three hits off OPSU pitcher Emily Worley. Anyssa Barbosa had two hits and four runs batted in for the Aggies.
