PORTALES, NM — The Eastern New Mexico University softball team will return home this weekend, for a three-game Lone Star Conference series against Cameron. The Greyhounds have won six home games this season, most recently a three-game sweep over University of Texas of the Permian Basin.
The Greyhounds will open the series on Friday against Cameron at 1 p.m. MST, with a doubleheader. Live statistics and video will be available for both contests. Live statistics will be available for Saturday's season finale at noon.

With 18 wins, the Greyhounds have posted their highest victory total since the 2007 season. ENMU's 10 Lone Star Conference victories is also the team's high mark since that same season
Eastern's lineup boasts three players (
Erikka Burke,
Susannah Chandler, and
Cameron Conrad) batting at least .322. The team currently is on pace for its third-best on-base percentage (.385) and eighth-highest slugging percentage (.441).
Erikka Burke currently is on pace for the third-best single-season slugging percentage in team history (.744) and has the third-most homers in a season (12).
Kaylee Rogers 14 wins are fourth most in a season for ENMU, while her four shutouts tie for fourth.
Welborn has won 32 games and is in her second season at ENMU. Earlier this season, she passed Ron Landschoot and Hollie Chadwick, and currently ranks fifth on the ENMU career wins list, just four wins behind Amber Daniel.
About the Aggies
Cameron is 25-13 on the season, with a 13-4 mark in Lone Star Conference play. The Aggies are looking to bounce back from a two-game skid with loses to 16
th-ranked University of Central Oklahoma.
Dennis Furr is in his first season with the Aggies.
Inside the Series with Cameron
The Greyhounds are 4-18-1 against Cameron, with a 1-4 mark at home. Eastern's last win in the series came by a 7-3 score on March 22, 2015. The Hounds received all the offense they would need in a four-run second inning.
Susannah Chandler batted four-for-four with a double and four runs batted in.
