VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Timothy Frederick finished the 200m race at the 2023 NCAA DII indoor track and field championships in 21.54 seconds to finish 12th among the field.

The junior is just the tenth Greyhound to ever compete at the national competition.

Frederick missed the top-eight mark by 0.14 seconds.

"It was a great experience. It definitely motivated me to work harder," said Timothy Frederick after competing Friday evening. "I am grateful for this opportunity. I am going to use this as a learning experience and I am ready for what's in store for the outdoor season."

With the indoor season complete, the Hounds track and field program will look ahead to the outdoor portion of the year.

The first outdoor meet will be the WT Spring Break Open in Canyon, Texas. The two-day event will take place March 17th and 18th.
