Barry Coffman lettered in three sports for the Greyhounds from 1966-70, with four years in track and three in football. In track & field he was a national qualifier in the triple jump (four times), high hurdles, long jump and sprint relay. He held school records in the long jump, triple jump, intermediate hurdles and sprint relay. In football he was a Little All-American and was chosen Outstanding Football Player in 1969. Coffman shattered six ENMU receiving records and in 1969 ranked ninth among small college receivers. In 1970 he was a member of Eastern’s third-place NAIA team.
