Hall of Honors
Roy Franse participated in track and basketball at Eastern New Mexico University from 1952-1956. He was a four-year letterwinner in both sports. Franse’s accomplishments over those years include all-conference in basketball from 1954-56 and was an all-tournament selection in the NAIA National Basketball tournament in 1956. Franse held the career-scoring record briefly at 1,586 points. He also was selected the Greatest Greyhound in 1956. In track, Franse set the ENMU record in the long jump at 24’-6”.
