Hall of Honors
Benny Taylor was a four year starter for the Greyhound football team from 1951-54. A versatile athlete, he played fullback, defensive end and outside linebacker for ENMU. Taylor’s contributions earned the high honor of Greatest Greyhound in 1953 and he was elected team captain in 1954. He played for three years under Al Garten and for one season for Carl Richardson. Taylor also served as a member of the New Mexico National Guard.
