Jack West came to Portales from El Paso, Texas and played wide receiver for Eastern New Mexico from 1967-70. In his time at ENMU, he caught 53 passes for 564 yards and six touchdowns. After his career at Eastern, he spent two years with the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints organizations. He went on to coach high school football and won a state title in Las Cruces in 1975. West now serves as the national director for Pro Athletes Team where he focuses on the company's growth and working operations with professional athletes.
