Dennis Williams ran for Eastern New Mexico cross country and track and field from 1973-75. The Laingsburg, Michigan native holds the school record in the marathon with a time of 2:15.80. He took second at NAIA cross country nationals in 1973 and seventh in 1974. Williams placed third in the two-mile race at nationals in 1973. He finished second in the two-mile at indoor nationals in 1974 and fourth place in the outdoor six-mile race at nationals in the same year. He was a member of the 1973 cross country, 1974 cross country, and 1974 outdoor track and field national championship teams. He currently resides in Albuquerque and works as an accountant.
