Hall of Honors
Boyce Russell was an all-conference football player for the Greyhounds from 1950-53. His teammates voted him Outstanding Player in 1953. Russell led the Hounds to the Aztec Bowl in Mexico City in 1954. He also played three seasons for the baseball team and started at catcher. After 15 years of teaching and coaching in Elida, Alamogordo and Las Cruces, he joined the staff of University of New Mexico-Gallup where he served for 25 years.
