Kay Sewell-Lambert had an amazing career with the rodeo team from 1978-1981. She led the team to consecutive regional titles. She won two regional titles in the barrel race (1979-80, 1980-81), goat tying (1978-89, 1980-81), and was All-Around Cowgirl for the region in both 1979-80 and 1980-81. In 1979, she was the NMGRA rookie of the year. In 1980 she was the North American Rodeo Commission's World Champion Barrel Racer.
