    Men's Basketball, Coach
The Greyhounds head men's basketball coach for ten seasons from 1988-97, Earl Diddle held a record of 156-124. The second winningest coach in Eastern men's basketball history is one of two coaches to record nine or more double-digit win seasons. He also led ENMU to six-straight final records of .500 or better from 1988-94. The 1992-93 squad went 23-7, won the Lone Star Conference Tournament, and advanced to the South Central regional final in the 1993 NCAA Tournament. He developed one of the state's largest team and individual camps for high school players, as well as a coaching clinic for junior high and high school coaches that regularly drew 75 attendees. Always in his mind is fellow Hall of Honors awardee, Ron Milam, who played on Diddle's first teams at ENMU. Coach Diddle is the father of three daughters, Colby Gaines, Beth Swackhammer and Brooke Lee. He has four grandchildren; Caroline, Madison, Rosalind and Samuel.
